Contract Senior Geoscientist
The Senior Geoscientist will be responsible for leading and executing geological and geophysical studies to support exploration, development, and production activities. Block Energy is a small exploration and production company focussed on the Republic of Georgia and requires staff to be fully conversant with, and able to practice, a range of skills. For this role expertise in seismic interpretation and mapping, stratigraphy and sedimentology, structural geology and fault and fracture analysis, resource evaluation, and on- and off-shore drilling and production operations are required. The successful candidate will also contribute to strategic planning, and liaise with multidisciplinary teams to optimize asset performance and screen new venture opportunities.
